BOOKS 2026
Back when I was young, when I owned an event space, I created a series of photographic albums that contained pictures of each affair. I had stored them on shelves, never to be seen again, not even by the client. Some of these “parties,” whether they be for weddings, graduations, or nightclub craziness, were implanted in my mind. For years, every picture I took was a memory. A button was clicked. Then the photographs were placed into catalogs or small frames. Glancing upon them was a pleasure. I wondered why I was hiding these delightful images from the world. An idea popped into my mind. These weren't just images, but books of wonder, that others could imagine and participate in the excitement that I had experienced.
My daughter Allegra, who is an editor wrote her first book, THE JEWISH NINJA, that had been on Amazon a few years. She was extremely helpful in all the books we now have on Amazon. My first book was my autobiography, I DECIDED TO BE AN ARTST.

I DECIDED TO BE AN ARTIST (IDTBAA) BY DOLORES RITA SLAKOFF BROWNEI STARTED AS AN ARTIST, BECAME A RESTAURANT-NIGHT CLUB OWNER, AND CONTINUED WITH ART PROJECTS BOTH IN TWO-DIMENSIONAL PAINTING AND FUNCTIONAL SCULPTURE THAT RELATED TO EVERYDAY LIFE. I HOPE TO END MY LIFE DOING THE SAME. WITH A BIT OF THEORETICAL USING MY IMAGINATION IN AN ABSTRACT IMAGINARY ELEGANT WAY, MY MIND KEPT ME ON THE ROAD USING ONE FORM THAT CREATED MANY. I CARRIED ON THAT COCEPT WITHIN MY DESIGNS. THIS BOOK WAS WRITTEN SO THAT I COULD SHARE WITH MY GRANDCHILDREN, AND HOPEFULLY THEIR CHILDREN, MY VIEWS, IDEAS, THOUGHTS AND BELIEFS, IN THE HOPE THAT THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO OFFER THEIR ORIGINAL CONCEPTS TO THE WORLD WITHOUT RESERVATION. PERHAPS THIS BOOK WILL ALSO INFLUENCE MOTHERS WHOSE JOB IS GUIDING THEIR CHILDREN SO THAT THEY ARE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND AND IMPLEMENT THEIR OWN FEELINGS, POINTS OF VIEWS, THEORIES, AND PHILOSOPHIES.

THE JEWISH HAT BY DOLORES RITA SLAKOFF BROWNE AND ALLEGRA SAENS COLEMANOn Saturday mornings WaWa ate lox and bagels with his wife, DeDe, while they admiringly watched the Hasidic Jewish people stroll to synagogue dressed up in their formal attire. WaWa couldn’t take his eyes off their hats. He had to have one. They searched to find the perfect one. Finally, finding it, they waited for it to arrive. As soon as, his Borsalino Fedora arrived, WaWa placed it on his head. He never took it off. At least, he tried to never take it off.
